Linea's AI assistant works with your Procore projects through a secure app that your company installs and controls. You choose which projects it can see, and you can remove it at any time.
1. Install the app
Done by a Procore company admin.
In Procore, go to Company Tools › Admin › App Management › Install App › Install Custom App. Paste the App Version Key that Linea gave you, then click Install.
2. Choose the projects
Open the app's Permissions tab. Under Permitted Projects, add each project the assistant may access. It can't see any other project.
3. Finish in Linea
Sign in at admin.bylinea.com, go to Integrations › Procore, and click Claim next to your company.
If your company isn't listed, use Claim by ID and enter your Procore company ID. That's the number in your Procore web address: app.procore.com/<company-id>/company/home.
The status changes to Connected.
Good to know
- Read-only by default. The assistant can only read project data unless you ask for write access. Even then, it shows you each change for review before anything is saved.
- No copies kept. It reads Procore data only when you ask a question.
- Reinstalls clear projects. Reinstalling or upgrading the app clears the permitted projects in Procore, so add them again afterwards.
- Removing access. Uninstall the app in App Management, or ask Linea to turn off the integration. Either takes effect within minutes.
